“Commemorating Mimar Sinan in Üsküdar” Calendar Updated

The competition is organized under the Article 23 of the Public Procurement Law of Republic of Turkey No. 4734, within the frame of the Regulations for Competitions of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Urban Design Projects, Urban Planning and Works of Fine Art.

Decisions taken by the Presidency on November 30, 2020; In line with the circulars published by the Turkish Rebuplic Ministry of the Internal Affairs on December 1, 2020 and written requests from the contestants, the calendar of the “Commemorating Mimar Sinan in Üsküdar ” is updated and the project delivery is postponed to February 3, 2021.

Updated competition calendar is as below:

• Deadline for submissions: February 3, 2021, Wednesday, 23:59, GMT +3 (Digital Submissions)

Physical 3-Dimensional Expression;

› It can be delivered to the address that is specified below as “Place
of Delivery for Physical 3D Explanations” in person by signing
a notice of delivery, until 17:00 on the day of “Deadline for
Submissions” mentioned in the competition calendar.

› Or it can be delivered to the address that is specified below as
“Place of Delivery for Physical 3D Explanations” by mail. A copy
of the receipt showing that it has been delivered to the cargo, will
be sent to the e-mail address of the competition until 19:00 on the
day specified as the of “Deadline for Submissions” mentioned in
the competition calendar. The cargo receipt must bear 8-character
project alias. The Organizer will not be responsible for the Physical
3-Dimensional Expressions that do not reach the specified address
until 17:00, on the date specified as “Deadline of the Mail
Submission” in the competition calendar. The Organizer will not be
responsible for any damages that may occur in the cargo delivery.

With this addendum, the calendar above has been updated. Contestants who submit their projects before December 21, 2020, the day this addendum is signed, can preferably withdraw their projects and submit their projects again. The addendum will be published on the website of the competition.
